›Images of Sound‹ Symposium, Part 2
With subject specialists, direction and concept: ›Institut für zeitgenössische Musik der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt‹
The goal of the two-part symposium is to examine three (music) film productions in order to identify the properties and specific effects of New Music when combined with film. In the introductory lecture, the composer, musicologist and media scholar Michael Harenberg will provide the audience with considerations and arguments for the subsequent »best practice« lectures. An extended panel moderated by Hessian Radio journalist Stefan Fricke will attempt a positioning at the end of the event.
